Adele Bower enjoys painting and drawing, writing, and being with her family. She is an avid reader of many kinds of books, especially Amerian history and biographies.

Adele has a degree in art and has worked as a freelance and studio illustrator, and fine artist. As her faith in the Lord grew, she became interested in Bible teaching, which eventually led to her interest in writing. She has written and taught several Bible studies; and is writing a collection of short stories, poems, articles, and an inspirational book for young parents.

Writing and illustrating Christian children's books soon became a way to serve the Lord with the talents He has given. Adele's first children's book, "Emmie's Birthday Party" is now available at all major bookstores worldwide and online. Her second book, "Emmie's First Journal" can be ordered now from this website, and will be available in stores on December 9, 2008.

She and her husband, David, live in Houston, Texas and are active in their church, Second Baptist North. They have two children, two children-in-law and four wonderful grandchildren.
